The Heroine Tarot
Illustrator Gina Schiappacasse needed my help to make her idea of a fashion forward deck a reality. Together, we created The Heroine Tarot, which was indie-published successfully on Kickstarter in 2019, featuring oversized cards with holographic edges in a sleek black box set, accompanied by a guide booklet, an enamel pin and limited edition art prints. With a modernized twist on the classic 1910 Rider-Waite-Smith version, I knew that Gina's illustrations needed to take center stage so my approach was to keep the art direction fresh and minimal. In addition to being the designer on the product, I held a pivotal role in the idea development, art direction and the campaign launch. As well as acting as project coordinator, production management, product photographer and designer of various digital & social assets used for promotional purposes.
